December New Moon Window started very early on Thursday and like two hours later a 5.8 and 5.7 struck up there in the Cal-Nev Region!!! Right AT the location of a WonderFull little “Ghost Town” named Aurora, Nevada!!! Mark Twain lived there early in his mining days and did some of his first writing there!!!

Peru is now TWO predictions!!! Due to the Christmas Day landfall of Super Typhoon Nock-Ten at Philippines where they didn’t want to evacuate because they were reportedly still doing some Christmas shopping and all that!!! Well wind gusts of 180 miles per hour, so. . . WATCH around Charrillos, Peru into February 2017 for up to 8 Richters!!! AND that other one NOW for Aqua Calientas, Peru on or about January 9, 2017 at 7 Richters. . . . . And all the Cal-Nev shaking COULD mean 6 or 7 Richters for San Francisco-Oakland at some point in the near future, too!!!

It looks like some of the snowfall totals are WAYYY up especially around Mammoth Lakes 150 inches and Mount Baker in Washington at 134. Of course you know by now that Severe Winter Conditions can also precede Major Earthquakes such as Northridge and Paso Robles both being December and January Earthquakes Respectively. . . So Let’s Keep Watching California for a Major Earthquake and maybe if the winter conditions worsen the chances for a big earthquake could, too!!!

ONE New Earthquake Prediction for you all today and that’s for Peru on or about January 9, 2017 at around 7 on the Richters Scale although they had a big 7.6 Christmas Day Earthquake at Southern Chile. . . We should keep watching Peru which is an entirely different alert there!!! ADDED: Also regarding landfall of Super Typhoon Nock-Ten at Philippines on Christmas Day: Alerts for Kiribati, and The Marquese Islands.

I want to add to the Earthquake Prediction for PERUuuuuu!!!!! This is for Peru to have a Major Earthquake on or about January 9, 2017 and now I want to say about 7 on the Richter Scale, too!!! Although that foreshock out in those islands was actually about a 7.9. . . They tend to be a little bigger when they shake islands out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean!!!

Seeing as how YESTERDAY was the Anniversary of the 6.6 Richters Paso Robles Earthquake in California, That Major Alert For California should continue, now, with 132 Inches of snow at Mammoth Lakes and 126 Inches at Mount Baker, Washington!!! Be Watching all of California and our West Coast, there!!!

Speaking of Severe Winter Conditions, in January 1994 we were shooting such movies as “The Fugitive” in Chicago on the day of the Northridge Earthquake and THAT was when, with a little bit of research, I discovered it was THOSE EXACT Severe Winter Conditions that was probably the CAUSE of the movement of the North American Tectonic Plate that led to that earthquake!!!

MORE Severe Winter Conditions came to precede Paso Robles, Great Alaska, and New Madrid Earthquakes!!!
And hey, it’s just possible there COULD be even MORE Severe Winter Conditions COMING, now!!!\ So. . . be ESPECIALLY Watching California, there!!!

There WAS a big 6.5 Richters Earthquake that struck Northern California yesterday!!!!! 2500 Felt Reports from as far as San Diego, Reno, Yakima, Washington and Victoria, Canada!!!

AND we were watching around Seattle for a 6.5? So it looks like we do not need to keep watching too much longer because that was a lot of Seismic Energy there!!! Of course we do have to keep watching that region because that Big Alert DOES run until December 24 there!!!

There was also a Big 7.8 Richters Solomon Islands Earthquake. . . and an alert continues for Bangladesh-Myanmar-Burma

Can hardly believe it myself. . . . .Kept saying watch that region, and in my EQ Blog even started saying Mt. St. Helens because Utah was getting a lot of shaking!!! So watch a few more days yet around Seattle, and Burma where they actually had like a 4.7 already there!!!

December 23 will be the anniversary of the Paso Robles Earthquake also/known/as 2003 San Simeon Earthquake and one of my VERY FIRST Big Alerts for California which I sent out back in those days via E-Mail to a lot of folks who are still some of my best followers!!!
THIS, because of the correlation between the most severe of winter conditions, and Major Earthquakes that seemmmmmmm to follow.

Along that lines the first of those BIG Earthquakes at New Madrid struck on December 16, 1811 and became a whole series of December, January, and February Earthquakes!
Keep Watching for Earthquakes around Bangladesh-Myanmar-Burma, and the Seattle Region could still get 7 Richters BEFORE December 24th

The final tally. . . So far. . .up-to-this-point, everybody is 8 out of 10 as we journey all the way back through those Big-10 Predictions!!! Yes, starting with, you’ll remember “Five Prediction Friday” and all the rest!!! We’ve now seen ALL of them except Western Africa where I should have known they rarely get earthquakes and of course Seattle where the alert continues for there through December 24. . . (DJ Jaguar pointed out that's 80%!!!)

HAD been prepared to give a new prediction today, but they got the earthquake late last night and so it would be awkward predicting it! 6.3 Richters Peru. . . 200 Miles North of the town of Arica, Chile where our next new prediction might have been!!! Keep watching THERE just in case, because a very serious one could follow.

And while we’re talking about it that line from Arica, Chile DOES continue on through Bangladesh, Burma, and Myanmar where you might now expect. . . A 6.3 or bigger!!! COULD happen at any moment!

On Earthquake Minute Today!!! Might say And NOW Earthquake Minute. . . . .??? Might have said "Earthquake Video Log"

The big news today is the fact that two of those predictions from “Five Prediction Friday” turned out to be for a 7.6 Italy Earthquake. . . And for a 7.8 Richters New Zealand Earthquake of course along with that one for the Caribbean. Well, over the years folks have occasionally come along and said “Well that’s STILL only 3 out of 5”!!! So, today I hope I do not have to explain to my now much more modern audience the difference between getting 3 out of 5. . . . . And having had actual active Earthquake Predictions out for the 7.6 Italy Earthquake and the 7.8 Richters New Zealand Earthquake!!!

It’s my opinoin that 3 out of 5 aint bad and so today I want to just leave it at that!!!
Remarkably the Big 7.8 Richters New Zealand Earthquake ended up falling ENTIRELY within the 24 Hour Super Moon Window and more or less ended at the same time as the end of that Super Moon ended too!!! AND, when all the dust settles there, keep in mind that MODERN SCIENCE. . . Still will not correlate the two!!!

Added: Story about landfall of Hurricane Otto at Nicaragua yesterday-7.0 El Salvador hour later and won’t correlate that, either!!!

I was working at one of the bottled water plants around Southern California when one day I told the guys I’m still “Dialing-In” all my theories!!!

Well, one of them that I already had pretty much dialed in that day back in 2003 was the magnitude, and you might have noticed that I did say a 7.8 was coming for New Zealand!!!

Such movement of the Pacific Tectonic Plate generally means there’ll be some more shaking at the TOP of that tectonic plate, or Japan and beyond towards the Italy Region once again!!! Could be some serious shaking there, too, having now been preceded by 7.8 there!!!

As most of you know California and our West Coast are also situated around the Pacific, but should not expect to go as high as 7.8 Richters, however always be prepared and watch for all of these Major Earthquakes to shake through December!!!

Also keep watching Ecuador, Kashmir, South of Santiago, Yellowstone, ANDDDDD Seattle!!!

And hope a few of you might even actually hear me out there in L.A. or San Francisco on the Pacifica Radio Network!!!

So let’s get started on some Big Earthquake Updates, here. . . Today!!!

Been watching around Seattle, Vancouver, and Cascadia for an Earthquake that SHOULD HAVE followed. . . . .THERE!!!!!

As most of my regular followers may know, we’re not always sure about EVERY alert. . .but a lot of these are just as important, like Seattle!!!

That alert will continue into November and added Alaska and Nepal, but it also covers a lot of places in between and sometimes that’s where they’ll HIT, too!!! So keep watching for that one

Also a lot going on in South America and a BIG ONE we’re watching for there, too!!! That alert will run at least up to the upcoming Full Moon around November 16.

Also just heard the November Full Moon will be the closest and biggest Super Moon in a long time and so expect some of these to shake before then. . . Or DURING that Super Moon!!!

There have also been a lot of brand-new Big Windstorms making landfall such as Hurricane Matthew recently at Haiti, Cuba, Bahamas, and along our East Coast and the alerts for Earthquakes in all of those places pretty much will run into January!!!

Hate to have to say it, but while we watch all that is going on in Italy right now. . . . .ONE of the big windstorms, Super Typhoon Hay-Muh will now be sending even MORE Brand-New Earthquake Energy over towards ITALY!!!

This could NOW be yet another big one for them. . . And unrelated to all the others that have been hitting there, at least according to ME!!!

All of this will now mean continuing that already big alert for New Zealand, where they could have a big one coming and there are also earthquakes still heading for Kashmir, Santiago, Western Africa, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Banda Aceh Region!!!!! Good For them, so far up to that October 19 end date, because no major earthquake, there! BUT. . . You could say BAD for my up to this point PERFECT record for Earthquake Prediction here on 89.9!!!

Therefore, and because this one was connected to that landfall of Hurricane Newton at the very Southern Tip of the Baja California now 43 days ago, May we please NOW extend this alert PAST Seattle, to Alaska and onto Nepal, there!!! Still watch for a 6.5 and I suppose keep watching Seattle/Vancouver/Cascadia, too!!! Alerts continue for Banda Aceh, Ecuador, New Zealand, and Kashmir, Keep Watching There!!!

Now coming up with the following updates: The full moon may affect that prediction for Italy over there surrounded by the Mediteranian and therefore let’s now say 7.6 on October 15, 16th like Saturday Night or Sunday during that October Full Moon. . .ALSO: Seattle/Vancouver Region and Cascadia Let’s now say October 16 to 19 and because USGS doesn’t require a single date and in the future that’s still a narrow date range.

Let’s SEE Here, now there’s also: New Zealand 7.8 on October 18, Ecuador/Peru/Iquique, Chile October 19 at 7.1, Banda Aceh, Sumatra 7.9 October 22, Kashmir October 30, and Santiago November 9.

The really big news this week is ALL OF THOSE Landfalls of Hurricane Matthew. . .including Barbados, Cuba, Haiti,. Bahamas, the Brushing of Florida, and the final Landfall at The Carolinas!!!
Call it a coincidence, but the 1886 Charleston 7.0 Earthquake was preceded by at least 4 similar big landfalls around Florida, and the landfall of Hurricane Irene at Puerto Rico preceded that big Washington Monument Earthquake of 2011.

Earthquakes in all these areas are Long-Shots However we SHOULD be watching, even though it’s unlikely too big of one will hit there. . . and the bigger the more unlikely, watch New York, Boston, Haiti, Florida, Charleston, and the Carolinas. Meanwhile big alerts continue for Seattle, Banda Aceh, Italy, Ecuador, New Zealand, Kashmir, and Santiago. There are a LOT of Major Earthquakes coming any day, now. . .and usually they like to start shaking ALL AT ONCE, Too!!! Full Moon Coming Soon, could quickly become a factor, too!!! Hurricane Matthew has now made landfall at Barbados, Martinique, Haiti, Cuba, The Bahamas, is BRUSHING Florida right this moment, and if Matt Continues will probably either make landfall around Charleston, or Continue to BRUSH the Carolinas. . . AND May even circle around offshore and COULD hit Florida again early next week!!!!!

1886 was yet ANOTHER Big Year for Hurricanes!!!!! June 30, 100 mph struck the Florida Panhandle. On July 19 another hurricane made landfall near Ozello, Florida crossing North Florida. . .and on August 31, The 1886 Charleston earthquake struck there at 7.0
So, also watch For Earthquakes, there, along with NOW. . .New York, New Madrid, Montreal, Yellowstone, Ottawa, and possibly around Haiti, again, folks!!!

The California O.E.S. and California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council, or CEPEC, have made a decision and issued a Memo warning of the possibility of a BIGGER Earthquake following the recent Earthquake Swarm at The Salton Sea. . . there have been a LOT of Earthquakes in that region with the biggest so far a 4.3 felt in Lompoc, Las Vegas, and Los Angelessssss!!!!! As a result I want to add those are all places where otherwise dormant fault lines could be interrupted. . . . .and ANYTHING can happen there!!! At least for a while, and I personally will be watching for all that Earthquake Energy to migrate NORTH, but my California Friends should be prepared for ANYTHING to happen!!! Might also be a Great Time to put the finishing touches on that Earthquake Early Warning System, too, I've personally seen it in action at UC Berkeley and believe EVERYBODY should have one!!! Now's the time to Ask for your Earthquake Early Warning System. . . by name!!!

California already HAS 2 Big EQ Alerts there, so if we add the possibility of a Resultant from the Nuke Test it's time for Earthquake Preparation!

Like Between Corvallis, Oregon and Point Arena, California, but watch Oakland because I’ve tracked similar ones past Goose Lake, Oregon, Curran, Nevada, Coos Bay, Oregon, Mt. Rainier, and in 2004 one of these hit OAKLAND!!! Direct Hit at 4.2!!! Did a LOT of Damage, there, too!!! BUT, had a big alert out before ALL OF THEM!!!

We will also need to watch our East Coast around New York, New Jersey, and Washington, DC for a few days yet, maybe around Illinois and Indiana because there seems to be a lot of Intra-Plate type Tectonic Plate Activity there, and shouldn’t go any higher than a 7. . . HUGE Global Warming News Today!!! BIGGGGG Tree Broken OFF!!! On The Capital Square Right in Madison, Everybody!!! Just after 6pm Tuesday. . BIG TREE Broke Off, landing on the sidewalk and 2 People were injured and reportedly had to be extricated from under the fallen tree!?

No word on their condition, however the condition of the TREE is not good, they’ve removed it now, but it was broken completely OFF about 25 feet up and I got a chance to check it out, got some pics and BELIEVE it had dried out from Global Warming of course along with probably many other trees on the square there, and sort of a lucky break for folks following Global Warming, because perhaps they can now form a COMMITTEE to look into ALL the trees drying out and dying. . . Let’s hope they’ll take some action, now!!!

Keep watching for MY “Prediction #10” Copiapo, Chile, Catamarca Argentina!!! They are presently getting foreshocks there, so we know there’s a BIG Shaker coming!

And we are currently watching Chile, and Argentina for a big 8 or 9 Richters Major Earthquake with my guess or prediction you could say, being for 8.3 on the Richter Scale at or near Copiopo, and La Serena, Chile and up into the Catamarca and Tucuman Provinces of Argentina!

ALSO, we're currently already getting some serious shaking from this movement of the Pacific Tectonic Plate right here in California with the biggest so far being 3.8 Ridgemark, 3.7 Hollister, and 3.0 San Simeon ALL with many good sized aftershocks and LOTS of felt reports coming from Monterray, Santa Cruz, and San Franciscoooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

Yes, we are going for 10 straight here so let’s see what will become with this LATEST One, Here. . . I’m calling it Prediction Number TEN!!!!!

Ok, because the forward direction of the line travels up into Bangladesh, Sumatra and Indonesia up there near China it meets the Indian Ocean Tectonic Plate. . I’m not able to say an exact place there, but all of these could be BIG ONES!!!

Moving to South America the line crosses DIRECTLY at Copiapo and La Serena, Chile. . . . .Copiapo had an 8.5 in 1819, and Santiago had an 8.8 in 2010 and THAT ONE was ironically preceded by the landfall of SEVERE Tropical Cyclone OLI at French Polynesia 30 days prior!!! With all the 8 Magnitude Earthquakes having already struck that region. . .LET ME GUESS 8.3 on The Richters Scale there!!! Copiapo, La Serena, Chile and maybe up into Catamarca, and Tucuman Provinces of Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgentina!!!!!

By Far the biggest concern will be up around Nepal. . . Because this one MIGHT be heading directly for Kathmandu, there!!! And AGAIN, it crosses the Tectonic Plate there and Nepal is a THRUST Fault so it makes it MORE LIKELY Mumbai, or Bangladesh could shake due to the fault lines going North & South in those places. . .AND Iquique, Chile is along the line, too, and the RANGE for all of these Earthquakes is between 7.5 and 9 Richters and at any moment in some of these places, too!!!

Day 43 after Row-On-U at Bangladesh will be tomorrow Saturday and the New Moon will fall late Sunday Night, July 3rd!!! For whatever reason there seem to be a LOT of Major Earthquakes that strike around 43 days after such a landfall so be watching!

And they are getting some notable shaking up around Alaska so that could mean ANYBODY along our West Coast and it could go as high as 6 or 7 Richters, although Alaska yesterday. . . Would usually take more than a day or two to strike California, watch there just the same this weekend!!!

New EQ Alert Los Angeles "Earthquake Minute" For June 24, 2016

Hi, EQ Guy Here!!!

There was a landfall this week of Tropical Storm Danielle just to the South of Brownsville, Texas and it now looks like that line of Brand-New Potential Earthquake Energy could be heading directly for the Los Angeles Regionnnnnn!!!!! Of course that could be anywhere from Long Beach up to Hollywood and could even strike a few other places BEFORE it gets to L.A.!!!

Since that landfall was just like on Tuesday we’ll have to now be watching well into August for the next big say 5.8 Richters Earthquake there!!! AND start watching for Long Beach, Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Huntington Beach Areas to be getting foreshocks immediately!!!

Also just in today a Major Tornado with upwards of ONE HUNDRED Dead in China will mean some major shaking to follow in THAT Region and possibly along the Pacific, too! So nothing REALLY BIG shaking, but always watch and be prepared for Earthquakes!!! Because there ARE still a few smaller ones out there!!!

5.2 Richters Earthquake struck 27 Miles South of Palm Springs. . . And SIX. . .TY miles to the NORTH of where our friend The Real Jaguar is AT Right Now down there in SAN DIEGOooooo!!!!!!!!!

LOTS of aftershocks and a Grand Total of upwards of 500 Earthquakes there since this one struck at around 3:05am OUR TIME, and 1:05am Pacific Time at the epicenter on Friday Morning!!!

Of course Tropical Storm Bonnie made landfall last weekend at Charleston and the landfall of Hurricane Irene at Puerto Rico preceded that 5.9 that SHOOK The Washington Monument, and the landfall of Hurricane Hugo at Charleston in 1989 preceded The World Series Earthquake. . .

Soooooooo we might EXPECT California to shake and this weekend the June New Moon so they could continue to shake, although they probably WILL NOT go to much beyond about 6 Richters, hopefully!!! And there is an alert for Banda Aceh and there WAS a 6.5 about 500 Miles South of there on Wednesday, so keep watching there!!!!!. . .And Of Course keep watching California and our East Coast, too!!!

Tropical Storm Bonnie made landfall this weekend near Charleston, and Charleston has had a Major Earthquake before, too! AND the landfall of Hurricane Irene at Puerto Rico in 2011 came to preceed the 5.9 Washington, DC Earthquake!!! ALSO the landfall of Hurricane Hugo also at Charleston in 1989 preceeded the Great World Series Earthquake, so be watching there, although this is nowhere near the size of a windstorm as either of those other two!!!

Sooooooo, be watching around Banda Aceh and that Sumatra Region for 7 Richters as well as around Richmond, and California could get some of either of these!!!!!

NOW. . .it just might be time for a Brand-New “EARTHQUAKE ALERT”!!!!!

This looks like it will be almost the SAME movement of the Indian Ocean Tectonic Plate that followed landfall of Cyclone Pam last year and so I will again guess Banda Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia and Andaman-Nicobar Islands, but maybe Japan there, too!!! And the THEORETICAL Straight-Line does go directly through Sendi and Hokkaido, Japan some time in the month of June, too!!!

Could be around a SIX. . . On the Richters Scale and hopefully NO Tsunami related to this one!!!

We currently have BOTH the Mt. St. Helens Volcano AND The Mount Hood Volcano SHAKING!!!!! Mt. Hood LAST SHOOK. . . before The Lewis & Clark Expedition arrived!!! You could say it's about due to Erupt again at some point in the future, Mt. St. Helens on the other hand DID HAVE one Major Eruption in 1980 that killed 57 people as well as following the landfalls of Hurricanes Ivan, Jeanne, and Frances in September 2004, FIRST followed by the 2004 Parkfield Earthquake of September 28, 2004. . .THEN on October 1, 2004, the latest Eruption there, And the Full Moon is Tonight, so watch for more and maybeeeeeee one of these or usually one in Mexico or Central America. . . will ERUPT!!!

They’ve been getting a LOT of small earthquakes up there around the MOUNT SAINT HELENS Volcanoooooooo!!!!! This Giant Volcano has Erupted Before!!!. . . And it will eventually Erupt AGAIN!!!!! However and according to the U.S. Geological Survey, right at the moment the dome of that volcano is NOT Growing at all, and those earthquakes there, are still on the small side!

Swarms up there in that region are rather common, too, HOWEVER. . . On one specific occasion I want to tell you about the landfalls of Hurricanes Ivan, Jeanne, and Frances in 2004 not only came to precede the 2004 Parkfield Earthquake, BUT an Eruption of Mt. St. Helens with a cloud of steam and gray ash that lasted 20 minutes there! Finally there was a BIG Eruption there on May 18, 1980 killed 57 people!

Someday the next Eruption of Mt. St. Helens will come along. . . But you’ll ALWAYS get an advance warning ONLY Right Here with ME, The EQ Guy. . . . .at Earthquake Minute!!!

This Is The EQ Guy Here because you MIGHT have heard they’re starting to get a LOT of small earthquakes up there around the MOUNT SAINT HELENS Volcanoooooooo!!!!! This Giant Volcano has Erupted Before!!!. . . And it will eventually Erupt AGAIN!!!!!

So. . . watch for a big tornado, because it usually means an earthquake will follow!!!

According to my now famous “Go Straight Theory” the line came RIGHT OUT at and crossed directly through where the epicenter was at Ecuador!!! However, I want to note today, that I chOOse town names such as Riobamba, Ecuador because they’re easy to pronounce and am sorry I did not say Bahai de Caraquezzzzzz!

Hey, according to the “Guttenberg-Richter Law” the empirical catalogue of the earthquakes around the Pacific should be Rolling-Off in a Logarithmic formula right about now, and according to me hopefully ending very soon, there, too!!! Because Mexico has been shaking as big as 5.8 Wednesday, and 6.6 Offshore Thursday!!! Luckily NOT California or our West Coast.

Finally, tornados will also precede Earthquakes such as Big Tornado Outbreak of June 1992 preceded 7.3 Richters Landers Earthquake!!!

Nowwwwww 9 for 9 although very sorry there’s been a lot of folks dead and injured in those earthquakes ANDddddd now we’re going on 10 for 10 there!!!
So the Pacific could continue shaking a while, yet and that alert will not actually end until May 6th

Well, today I’m here to tell you THREE Major Sized Earthquakes have now struck Vanuatu!!! The latest magnitudes are a 7.2. . .a 6.7. . . And late Thursday Night while I was writing the notes for todays show. . . Right there in front of me on the screen appeared a 6.9 Richters Earthquake THERE!!! So, I was 8 for 8 and we can continue to watch Bogata. . . But it’s looking like IMMA say I’m 9 for 9 here!!!

Allow me to update my prediction for Riobamba, Ecuador by now moving that up to Santa Barbara, Columbia and still for 7.5 Richters but specifically WATCH Day 43 after landfall of Cyclone Winston at Fiji on April 3 through the New Moon April 7. . . WATCH For some major shaking at that very shaky Offshore Triple Plate Junction to the West of Eureka!!! Can and WILL mean all of California if the Pacific DOES Turn!!! 7.9 Richters Earthquake Struck The Indian Ocean Offshore In Between Banda Aceh, and Jakarta, Indonesia Early Wednesday Central Time. . .Big Earthquake, BUT, probably only the start of all this! The actual Movement of that tectonic plate which WILL FOLLOW. . .means that plate will now collide at places such as but not limited to Andaman/Nicobar Islands, Lake Tanganyika, Pakistan/Iran Region, Kathmandu. . . . .and-or Japan!!!

Could still be a Major Earthquake/Tsunami Event up to around 8 on the Richter Scale. . . yet to come!!! So be Watching, there!!!

On The One Year Anniversary of my "Earthquake Minute" on WORT 89.9 FM in Madison, Wisconsin and it all began with the landfall of Cyclone Pam at Vanuatu this time last year!!! Of course THAT was then followed on April 25 by the now Great Kathmandu, Nepal Earthquake that we HAD BEEN watching for.

Today, coincidentally, we have landfall of Cyclone Winston with 200 Mile Per Hour Gusts at Fiji. . . and will now be watching first around Vanuatu, Then Jakarta and Bogatau through April for a similar if not bigger Earthquake Event than Nepal was!!!

Big Los Angeles Earthquake "Earthquake Minute"!!! Transcript:

Happening NOW. . .as of Noon Central Time there seems to be a LOT of Shaking around Los Angeles! The very latest is now THREE Small Earthquakes around Granada Hills in the San Fernando Valley!!! THAT’S Just 10 Miles East of Simi Valley where I sort of made a Prediction Right Here for a 6.4 there so keep watching and be prepared for a Big Shaker!

Other earthquakes around California this week included 3.5 and 3.9 Mammoth Lakes, 3.9 Big Bear City, a 5.3 and 4.8 at Big Pine, California at just the other side of the Sierras from Yosemite National Park up there!!! Also just added MINUS 37 Degree Temperatures and MINUS 114 Degree Wind Chills on our East Coast!!!
Full Moon Window Starts Sunday. . .So Something BIGGGGGG could shake there very soon, Folks!!!

There IS a Prediction for Simi Valley, California near Los Angeles where a 6.4 could strike on February 11, 2016!!! May I clarify that I did not predict one for the Super Bowl. . .that was more of an ALERT based on those previous ones under the same conditions!!! NOW Be watching that shaky, shaky Southern California Region. . . And MAYBE Mexico, too, for a Major Earthquake because they DO follow Severe Winter Conditions and we ARE getting all that!!!

AND they DID get lots of Earthquakes AROUND Lima, Peru. . . So may I say I’m 7 for 7 at least on this here show!!!

Keep Watching Southern California because it is MY OPINION they’re looking at around 6.4 Richters. . .and I may be 8 for 8 now. . . At ANY Moment!!!!!

The 2016 Super Bowl Game will Kick-Off on Sunday with the New Moon Window starting at 9:40am Pacific Time on Sunday Morning, of course that’s 11:40am Central. . . AND This game WILL PLAY right there in the middle of the San Francisco Bay Area, too, at the new stadium there in Santa Clara! AND we’re looking at a possible about 7 Magnitude Earthquake for that region at any moment, too! There WAS a World Series Earthquake there, and the 2003 Paso Robles Earthquake struck prior to a Monday Night Football Game there on December 22, 2003!!! Padres Game June 19, 2010 5.8 in 8th Inning.

WASN’T exactly predicting an earthquake for San Francisco during the game Sunday. . .BUT Maybe I kind of, sort of, am in a way, you know!!! Bigggggg earthquake in that region would be sure to knock-out Twitter, Google, Facebook and a LOT of the internet, so be watching and be prepared!!!

Severe Winter EQ Alert: California!!! "Earthquake Minute" of January 22, 2015

Hello, Everybody!!!

Of course I am The EQ Guy and while I've been on here close to a year now. . . I have NOT had anything to say about California!!! I want to STRESS now that we ARE watching California!!!

Severe Winter Conditions DID precede Northridge, Paso Robles, and Eureka 2010 Haiti Earthquakes. . . aaaaaaand it sure is Winter out there!!! Sub-Zero temperatures alone could do it, you might recall we used Dry-Ice to free-up that stuck valve one time!!!

It COULD also move the tectonic plates, so keep watching Los Angeles and all of California for 7 Richters, With a 6.6 that just hit Mexico yesterday, the January Full Moon Window starts tonight, and there is still one big alert for Lima, Peru, too!!!

North Korea Nuke Testing Story: Fridays "Earthquake Minute"

NOTE: Moments before this edition was recorded I located a story that said North Korea planned to settle with United States and South Korea, so a short discussion regarding the END of Nuke Testing was added to this:

SINCE last week when I told you I’d have this list of all the OTHER North Korea Nuke Tests, there has NOW been 6.1 AND 6.7 Japan Earthquakes just a few miles from North Korea and with APPARENTLY no other potential cause for all that shaking, So, I want to put the blame on North Korea because testing was BANNED due to just that kind of Shaking!!!

They are now testing again. . . And places like JAPAN are in danger of Major Earthquakes. Unfortunately it looks like California might ALSO BE!!!!! Those other test dates: Most Recently, February 12, 2013--6.6 Russia; October 9, 2006-- Hawaii 6.7 that was like the biggest earthquake of all time in Hawaii. . .

And coincidentally just 6 days after that October 2006 North Korea Nuke Test!!! AND Finally. . .May 25, 2009--6.4 Hokkaido, Japan! Struck on Day 11,

And NOW. . .Day 11 after the January 6, 2016 Test will be Saturday, WATCH California!!!

Big Alert Los Angeles "Earthquake Minute" For January 8, 2016

Hi Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!!

Alllll’s I really have for you today is one little. . .well it could be kind of BIG, actually, earthquake that looks like it might be headed directly for Los Angeles!!! Now going up to possibly 8 Richters with 39 Earthquakes in Oklahoma yesterday!!! They’re down there right now looking for the cause, but California got even MORE snow in the mountains and there WAS that big H-Bomb Test in North Korea that registered 5.1 and that could be a factor in movement of the Pacific Tectonic Plate. . . . .with L.A. directly across on the other side shaking at 4.5 12 hours after that blast, and Oklahoma shaking about ever since!!!

There is a HUGE Alert now for California!!! And Maybe an alert for Oklahoma, but Haiti also shook after winter conditions in 2010!

One other Big Alert continues for Lima, Peru

Especially Watch around the New Moon on January 9 and 10 and this alert runs all the way through January. Might be foreshocks they’re getting around Haiti, too, and they could be due for one! Earthquake Minute For January 1, 2016

Hi Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!! Haven’t been on here in a while so the first thing I have to tell you all is that there is a HUGE Alert now for California!!! Untold amounts of snow in the Sierras and many, many Major Foreshocks!!! Most recently 4.4 Richters San Bernardino County Monday

Tornados touching down can ALSO precede Major Earthquakes such as Landers in 1992, AND there have been many of those, too!
My estimate for “Worst-Case-Scenario” on all this is a similar event to 1811-1812 New Madrid with THREE Major Earthquakes of Around 7 Magnitude

This Alert will run through January but I’m looking closely at the New Moon Window of Around January 10, 2016!!!
Could be a whole lot of shaking going on in California so be prepared for that!!!
