Hi, EQ Guy Here. . . I’ve just gone and calibrated these alerts and it looks like 5, maybe 6, or 6.5 Richters for the Philippines, Fairbanks-Alaska, Edmonton, Chicago, Haiti, and Caracas, and Day 40 on that alert there, is November 30.
LANDFALL of Typhoon Damrey at Vietnam with winds 80, and gusts 105mph, will now mean Kiribati, Tuvulu, and 100 miles Southwest of Cusco, Peru!!! November 26 is Day 21 on that alert so it will be running a while, yet.
Don’t forget to keep watching around that Indian Ocean Tectonic Plate boundary and especially at New Zealand, and the Andaman/Nicobar Islands!!!
Finally, the “End Date” on the big alert for San Francisco and Northern California is December 3

With deep sadness we learned that Ted Putnam, of the “Songs Of Safety And Manners” Radio Show. . . . . passed away this week. Ted has been on WORT for decades, D.J.ed at Natt Spiel, and was the former manager of San Francisco punk band the Witnesses. D.J. el Serpentine will be hosting “Songs Of Safety And Manners” tonight at 8pm to celebrate Ted's life and play a lot of Ted’s favorite music. THAT'S "Friday On My Mind" Tonight at 8pm for a Special Edition of "Songs of Safety and Manners" In Memory of. . . . . Ted "Ted Offensive" Putnam who passed away this week.
