Hi, EQ Guy Here!!! The Landfall of Hurricane Florence at Wilmington, North Carolina will now mean movement of the North American Tectonic Plate. . . POSSIBLY now headed towards Texas and Oklahoma, SOUTHERN California, and directly towards Los Angeles, San Andreas Fault is right there, too, and the desert regions, so it could strike a lot of places around the Southern California Region. Could be upwards of 6 Magnitude, and that could strike at anytime, now!!! Of course the Great World Series-Loma Prieta Earthquake struck on Day 18 after the landfall of Hurricane Hugo at Charleston in 1989!!!!!
