Hello Again Everybody, EQ Guy Here!! 6.1 Struck Early Friday at Afghanistan felt across that region!!! COULD be foreshock of a bigger one, there!!!!! 5.5 a hundred miles west of Juneau was downgraded to 5.2 Wednesday just about EXACTLY the region we are watching!!! And a 3.4 Struck the Seattle region, too!!!

More On the 2014 Major Earthquake at Iquique, Chile: a 6.7 Foreshock hit there on March 16, or about 2 weeks BEFORE the 8.2 of April 1st, 2014!!! AND as a result they were actually EXPECTING a Major Earthquake!!! AND so was I according to my Video Log for March 24, 2014. That 8.2 was followed by a 6 foot tsunami at Iquique, Chile, and it had at least one big aftershock of a 7.7 two days later on April 3rd.

Cyclone Belna made landfall this week at none other than MADAGASCAR!!!!! So, I suppose more earthquakes to come for Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique, you know!!!!!

Keep watching over around the Pacific Islands Region AND all that shaking will eventually reach that Arica, and Iquique Chile Region!!! That 6.4 Albania Earthquake struck well inside those times, and about 12 hours before exact moment!!!!!

Day 55 after landfall of Cyclone Winston at Fiji with winds at 180 miles per hour was when the 7.8 Ecuador Earthquake struck!!! And I’m telling you this today, because tomorrow is Day 43 after the landfall of Typhoon Hagibis Near Tokyo, Japan which occurred there on October 11th!!!

There was a big DAM Earthquake this week!!! YES, and that was the Grand Coulee Dam Earthquake!!! Although a 3.5, it would need “Peak Ground Acceleration” to have significant impact. AND It'll have to be least a six for that!

Yesterday, there was a 7.4 Indonesia Earthquake, Changed to a 7.1, and mention that it might have been connected to all the shaking in recent weeks at the Philippines!!! Southern California continued to shake with a LOT of shaking at El Centro, California with a 4.0 felt in Las Vegas!!!

Did I mention Yes, probably all connected, and that big alert for Alaska, Montana, New Madrid is probably connected to all that shaking, too!!! AND November 20 will be Day 40 an that alert!

Then, there was the 6.5, 6.6, and 6.3 at Philippines last week on Day 5, Day 17, And Day 19 and all combined LOOKS like tectonic plates moving. . . We could be starting to see issues with that big landfall at Japan of Typhoon Hagibis on October 11 with winds 167 Miles Per Hour!!! The Philippines has now had THREE Big Earthquakes of 6.5, 6.6, and a 6.3 this week with many deaths and at least one big hotel collapsed, there!!!!! 20 dead, 10,000 buildings damaged.

Places that could very well now shake following all that include Alaska, Western Canada. . . Or would you believe New Madrid, and possibly Illinois!!! And hey, Illinois had about a 2.5 this week, too and they are about DUE for a big one.

Hi, EQ Guy Here. . . Today WAS all about the movement of the San Andreas Fault TOWARDS The Los Angeles Region, that was when they got a 3.7 Richters Earthquake near L.A. at Compton!! Therefore we must now keep watching for a possible bigger one due to some others there including 4.5 near Oakland Monday, and 4.7 Hollister on Tuesdayyy!!!

ONE Report is even saying LOT of movement on The San Andreas Fault Line, although I personally am only watching for another in that 4.5 and 4.7 Richters Series, and alerts I personally know of are for nearby Alaska, Western Canada, and New Madrid.

As Typhoon Hagibis made landfall Near Tokyo a 5.3 Richters Earthquake struck very near the point of landfall at that EXACT moment!!! Watch that Japan Region, too!!! AND a 6.4 Philippines Earthquake on Wednesday killed 5 with dozens injured just south of there!!!!!

4.7 Richters Hollister Pacifica "Earthquake Minute" Transcript:

Hi, EQ Guy Here. . . With a 4.7 south of San Jose near Hollister on Tuesday and a 4.5 near Oakland on Monday, looks like this could be movement of the San Andreas Fault and next in line there. . . Could be Santa Barabara, or Los Angeles Region, although the San Andreas Fault is situated to the east of both cities, both ARE agreeable next in line for similar shaking if the fault line is moving in their direction!!!!!

At the same exact time as Typhoon Hagibis with 150 mile per hour winds, made landfall Near Tokyo last week, they were also struck by a 5.3 Richters Earthquake right there VERY NEAR the point where Typhoon Hagibis made landfall and at almost the EXACT same moment!!!!! There COULD now be more earthquakes on the way for that Japan Region. (Be watching around there, that was a BIG typhoon, did a lot of damage. . . Will mean earthquakes in the future)

Possible Brand-New Major Earthquake danger right now on the horizon for California and our West Coast As Super Typhoon Hagibis has now strengthened from a tropical storm to a CAT-5 Super Typhoon in just ONE day!! Hagibis is NOW among the most explosive rapid intensifications of any tropical cyclone on record anywhere on Earth.

With the latest Peak-Winds of 190 Miles Per Hour this is a BIG Super-Typhoon and headed directly for Japan!!! Further, the LINE it’s headed along runs directly to California and our West Coast!!!!! As you all heard right here on Friday, August 9, had an alert for a place called “Point Arenas, Chile” or about 1500 Miles SOUTH of Santiago. WELL, they had about a 7.2 there this week!!!!! Downgraded to a 6.8 there near a town called Chillán, Chile!!!!! And interestingly. . . AT the center of Downtown Chillan, Chile is the very beautiful arched Chillán Cathedral.

Well, that Cathedral ALSO happens to be a Memorial to the 30,000 victims of the 1939 Chillan Earthquake. . .there. That on Day 55 after landfall of Typhoon Francisco at Kyushu, Japan, so maybe the end of that alert?

Still an alert for Chicago at 5 to a 5.8, and today is Day 33 on that alert with Day 40 this week!!!

Hello Again, Pacifica!!! EQ Guy Here!!! BIG Earthquakes will be coming now, the result of that CAT-5 landfall of Hurricane Dorian at The Bahamas and the far Southern Region of Africa already shaking at Zambia, and Tanzania.

Watching Durango and Eldorado, Mexico around Mazatlan for possibly as big as the 8.1 that followed Hurricane Irma at Barbuda in 2017.

My Utmost concern is for the immediate area right there around where that landfall occurred in the Caribbean or Jamaica, Haiti, Florida, Carolinas, Cuba, and the Windward Islands.

I’m saying the Atlantic could be overdue for a Big Earthquake/Tsunami Event. . . And as always California and our West Coast are precipitously situated right there along that very, very shaky Tectonic Plate Boundary and actually not all that far from Durango, Mexico and Eldorado, Mexico, of course we’ll want to be watching California, Ridgecrest, L.A. & S.F.. . .BUT Durango & Eldorado, Mexico could get a big one and ALL of the Caribbean, too!!! Can’t honestly recall Puerto Rico ever getting Big Earthquake from that LAST big windstorm, there, Hurricane Maria!!! Discussion says they, too, could get some shaking and big time, due to this probably being a BIG Earthquake coming.

CAT-5 with Gusts of 225 could mean bigger than the 8.1 Oaxaca or 8.5 to 9??? Mentions bigger than 2005 Sumatra or 9.3 although in one take I went on to 1906 San Francisco and wasn't sure magnitudes of all the big ones I was discussing during live recording, you know. COULD be as big or bigger than those, though.

Possibly more landfalls, yet, too, as Hurricane Dorian passing the Carolinas right now. (At same time I was recording this on Wednesday) Landfalls such as those lead to earthquakes in Japan and China where there’s already alerts.

Hello EQ Guy Here!!! Lot of shaking at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, and South Sandwich Islands, and near where Hurricane Dorian just passed through the Virgin Islands with a wind gust of 111 Miles Per Hour!!! Then on Thursday there was a 6.3 Richters Offshore Oregon Earthquake and upwards of a thousand felt reports all the way to Canada, and the Los Angeles Region!!! LOOKS like it was a few hours after the August New Moon Window started, there, too, and that will now run all of the way through this weekend!!!

Must also now watch the Caribbean for shaking, too, and you’ll recall Oaxaca got that 8.1 as Hurricane Irma hit that same general region!!!

And it does look like Hurricane Dorian will be making landfall at or near The Bahamas, and then possibly Florida!!! Although nothing nearly as serious as the much bigger ones those Central and South America places have been known to get!!! Maybe a 6 there, and that alert will run all the way through August!!!

NOW the exact moment of the July Full Moon will be Tuesday Afternoon and there will be just a small added alert through Wednesday due to the fact that we KNOW shaking will increase at least just a little bit!!! COULD the next one be a 7.8 or the same size as hit Ecuador after tons of foreshocks, too!? OR an even bigger one!!!

Well, a 6.4 Richters Earthquake struck 100 Miles Northeast of Los Angeles yesterday!!! 11 Miles from Ridgecrest, California and 70 Miles North of Barstow, there!!! In addition to upwards of 3000 Felt Reports just from Cleveland, Ohio. . . That big 4.0 Richters Earthquake was also felt in Boston, Memphis, Saint Paul Minnesota, Lincoln Nebraska, AND Daytona Beach Florida!!! 9167 in all, there!!!!!

Brand-New “Official Prediction” filed with the California and National “Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Councils” this week for a 5.8 to 8.0 Richters Earthquake to strike CALIFORNIA!!! Hey, speaking of my “Go Straight Theory” The other line we’re watching, the result of Tropical Cyclone Foni at India. . . I’ve decided I might as well make this a “Prediction” today, Everybody!!!!! Hello Again, Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!! 8.0 on the Richter Scale struck Peru over the weekend, and my blog has pics of the “Straight-Line” of what I like to call “Major Earthquake Energy”. . . the result of that also BIG landfall of Tropical Cyclone Kenneth at Mozambique and 160 miles per hour gusts of wind on April 25, 2019!!! Making it Day 31 after that landfall. And the straight-line ran through. . . Peru, too!!!

The other line we’re watching, the result of Tropical Cyclone Foni at India, will be crossing North America as Day 25 is this week and THOSE winds were recorded up to 185 miles per hour gusts, too!!! Watch Alaska, Western Canada, Boise Region, and ALL of our West Coast!!! On my local home station WORT, Madison. . . I’ve added Montana, and Illinois to that alert, too!!! As of early Tuesday Ontario, California along Jurupa where I once worked at a bottled water plant there. . . I want to add that the Hayward Fault would fit very nicely into that description for shaking on our side of the Pacific Tectonic Plate. . . THAT being a thrust fault you know!!! Several at 6.1 they’ve been getting directly across, there!!!

Also watch all around Mexico City and Caracas for up to a 7.5 magnitude. A smaller one at Mexico City already this week got one felt report from Oaxaca. . . AND it's looking very much like the exact epicenter we're watching around that Triple Plate Junction shaking near Jakarta, with that 2004 Sumatra Epicenter only a few miles North, there.

Also a 4.2 and a 4.1 Azerbaijan, just 75 miles from Kazakhstan, And a 5.1, and 4.9 a few miles Northeast of Little Nicobar Island!!! Now in addition to last weeks landfall of Tropical Cyclone Idai at Mozambique with going on 1000 dead, 500,000 without electricity, and 90% of the city of Biera destroyed, NOW Tropical Cyclones Trevor, and Veronica head for Australia! Veronica with winds 132 and Gusts 161, there!!!

In case you didn’t already hear this, it COULD be, probably WILL be, the next big Earthquake-Tsunami Event for Indonesia with those volcanoes around Yogikarta, and Bali, or an aftershock at Sulawesi. 7.5 there, maybe an 8, there. And Sumatra 2004 HAD an 8.7 Aftershock on March 2005, just saying.

I have a few new alerts today. . . The result of the landfall of Tropical Cyclone I-day-ah at Mozambique on Thursday!!! That big windstorm had Winds at 109 and Gusts of 140 miles per hour and the reason I do my “Earthquake Minute” is my own personal correlation between such BIG Windstorms, and Major Earthquakes that seem to follow!!! Soooo, Places to now be watching for this new alert will include Jakarta Region for the next big Earthquake/Tsunami Event, the Hawaii Region, Columbia/Brazil-Panama-Costa Rica, , and that whole Mozambique Region near landfall including Botswana, Namibia, and Zimbabwe!!! COULD be as big as about a 7.5 coming!!!

High Winds-Dropped The Charges "Earthquake Minute" For Friday, March 1, 2019, The Transcript:

Hello Once Again, Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!! HIGH WINDS is the word this week!!!!! Yes, winds of 171 miles per hour were recorded at Mt. Washington, and winds between 70 and 90 miles per hour a lot of other places, too!!! THIS is what I call Precision Plate Tectonics at its BEST!!!!! Let the earthquakes begin, I always say and with winds like THAT. . . Don’t you just KNOW things are going to be shaking!!!!!

The highest wind speed ever recorded at Mount Washington was 231 mph in 1934, and, Yes, that was also the year an 8.0 Richters Earthquake also struck NEPAL. . . With 10,000 dead!!!!!

Along the lines of HIGH WINDS. . . . . all the charges are about to be DROPPED from all the Marijuana busts here in Wisconsin and Thank-You new Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers!!!

Lots of Ice, and Snow, and now add all of those HIGHH Winds. . . And you’ve got LOTS of Earthquakes!!! THAT’S Why My Name is The EQ Guy!!!

6.6 Richters Utah "Earthquake Minute" For February 22, 2019, Transcript:

Hello Once Again, EQ Guy Here!!! A 7.5 hit the Mountains of Ecuador 150 Miles Southeast of Quito in a sparsely populated region with so far NO injuries or damage having been reported!!!

Remember that 3.7 at Utah LAST week. . . just got bigger this week UNDER. . . the February Full Moon-Super Moon. . . when a 4.0 struck there!!! They like to say THOSE are getting bigger and In 1934, Utah WAS hit by a 6.6 there!!! And with tectonic plate movement THOSE could be foreshocks. . . BUT the Grand Finale could hit out along California or Our West Coast, Too!!!

There was also a 3.4 Tehachapi, and 3.7 Yountville/Napa Region Shaker with OVER 1200 Felt Reports Just From Napa, California!!!

I’m saying to watch for up to a 6.5 that whole region and that alert runs to Mid-March!!!!!

Hello Once Again, Everybody. . . EQ Guy Here!!!!! There was a 3.4 Tehachapi, and a really big 3.7 Yountville on Sunday with that Yountville Earthquake having OVER 1200 Felt Reports Just From Napa, California!!! We MIGHT especially watch all around California throughout the big February Full Moon-Super Moon for even MORE things to be shaking, there!!! And the big alert continues well into march, there, anyways. . . and THAT one could be as big as about a 6.5 and just about anywhere in California!!!

~~~There has also been some shaking up in Utah with so far the biggest a 3.7 getting 8500 felt reports!!!
ALSO a 3.6 Richters Struck Between Hemet, and Idylwild last week along with a Tiny 1.4 downtown Silver Lake, California and right where they shot a lot of the Laurel and Hardy movies. . . INCLUDING "Music Box" from 1932 where the two try to deliver a piano up a long set of stairs, that are still there!!!!! WON the very first Academy Award for a Live Action short film.

~~~Finally, 6 inches of SNOW at Nogales, New Mexico AND 191 Miles Per Hour Winds along with snow has struck at Maui, Hawaii, and we probably SHOULD watch for earthquakes, there, nowwwwww!!!!!

~~~3.6 Richters Struck Between Hemet, and Idyllwild, California Up there in that region, with 231 felt reports JUST from Hemet!!! And You’ll remember That was also the epicenter of a 6.8 on April 21, 1918 there!!!!!

Hello Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!! 5.3 Richters Earthquake struck the Dominican Republic this week and ALMOST. . .Exactly as we’ve been a watching for, there!!!!! So keep watching Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Jamaica, and everything in that region!!!

~~~4.4 Struck Northern California at Blue Lake on Wednesday And Yesterday. . .a 4.1 up Near Barstow at Ludlow, AND it was felt in Los Angeles. . . And Laughlin, Nevada!!! And NOW Lots of smaller ones, there, 63 all together!!!

~~~Some more shaking at Anchorage with a 4.1 and 3.7 there on Wednesday!! 400 Felt Reports with 254 FROM Anchorage!!! And ALL THIS as those severe Winter Conditions are continuing across MUCH of America, there, you know!!!

Hello Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!!!! NOW. . . I have filed that “Official Prediction” I’ve been talking about as the result of ALL. . .of the “Severe Winter Conditions” we have been getting!!!!! And I’ve even got an UPDATE on all that, too, watch for up to 9.2 just that Alaska Region where they GOT the 9.2 in 1964, and WATCH for around a 6.5 Northridge, California and West Coast or about the same as that 1994 Northridge Earthquake!!! (Maybe a little bigger)

And Rockford TV News said January 1994 was the last time it was THIS COLD, just sayin’

Correction from last week. . . NOT King Solomon, Alaska!!! It’s King Salmon, Alaska! King Solomon was king in 900 BC and revered for his wisdom. . . King Salmon is fish caught in Alaska, that big earthquake was at King SALMON, Alaska, NOT King Solomon!!!

Hello Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!!!! This is not the first time I’ve had to report LOT of shaking connected to the Full and New Moon!!! On this occasion, of course, I’m talking about last weekends BIG Full Moon, Wolf Moon, Eclipse, and all that stuff. . . And a GREAT View of that, too, driving home from the Randy Bachman Show at THE BARRYMORE On Sunday Night!!!!!

So, with regards to those earthquakes, and that SHOW was pretty great, too, anyways, Lot of shaking near the Salton Sea at Calipatria-Brawley, Indonesia and this time SUMBA--Indonesia. . . . .and Alaska Again!!!!! This one, a 5.2 at King Salmon, Alaska!!!!! And as of this broadcast, THEY have had a number of other earthquakes, there, too!!! And AGAIN, “Severe Winter Conditions” have preceded MANY Major Earthquakes including the 1964 Great Alaska Earthquake of 9.2 Richters!!!

So, let’s be watching. . . For a LOT more shaking!!! Alaska, West Coast, California, Brawley, L.A., S.F! There could be some Major Shakers Coming!!!!!

Hello Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!!!! A report of 5 to 6 feet of snow fallen in the Sierras this week, along with 20 inches in Missouri and 10 inches along the East Coast. . . with a whole lot more to come, too!!! Now we must expect some Good-Sized Earthquakes around California to follow all this throughout January and into February!!! 4.7 Offshore Maryland as I said will usually happen after they get all that snow, too!!! So, California and our West Coast will be shaking!!!!! Probably at least a good 6 Magnitude and maybe something around New Madrid, Oklahoma, and Southern Illinois is due, too!!!

ON my 25 year anniversary as The EQ Guy. . .I want to Thank Everybody for all the years you’ve been listening to us right here beginning the day Cyclone Pam made landfall at Vanuatu, the Kathmandu, Ecuador, New Zealand, and Taiwan Earthquakes and the guys in Peru, Turkey, and New Delhi who wrote me and thanked me!!! Hello Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!! Lot of January New Moon Earthquakes to report including 6.8 Brazil, 5.8 Japan, 6.1 Alaska Islands, 6.6 Indonesia, and 5.6 Iran. . . ALL within that 48 Hour New Moon Window!!! LOT of shaking seems to continue at Anchorage Region and one alert running till Mid-January!

With My 25 Year Anniversary coming next week Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana which meant a trip to our own Robinson Map Library where I researched maps of the Arctic and found Islamabad. . . THAT was followed by the Big Islamabad Earthquake!!! There was also Cyclone Winston/Ecuador, CAT-5: Taiwan-San Felipe, Chile 8.3. . . That X-Prize Discussion, Quake Chase 2011, And 2014, “EQ Radio Shows” and Of course 5-Prediction Friday!!!

Next Thursday, January 17 will be the 25 Year Anniversary of the Northridge Earthquake!!!

Hello and Happy New Year 2019 Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!! The January New Moon Window has now passed and a lot of Earthquakes struck in the hours before and a few in the hours after that exact moment on Saturday Night!!! With 6.8 Brazil, 5.8 Japan, and a 6.1 (TEN-Ah-Guh) Tanaga Volcano, Alaska all striking within 24 Hours BEFORE. . . and a 6.6 Indonesia, and 5.6 Iran AFTER the Exact Moment but ALL within that 48 Hours Window!!! And it’s been kind of quiet since it ended on Sunday Night. One alert remains through Mid-January For Peru, too!!!

And with my own personal 25 Year Anniversary as The EQ Guy just 2 weeks away, now, SOME of my best include Earthquakes where someone wrote me and THANKED me for letting them know there was an earthquake coming!!! Those include one from a person in San Francisco who was IN the 4.2 Oakland Earthquake in 2007. . .ALSO: Cyclone Winston/Ecuador, Cyclone Pam-Kathmandu, Katrina/Islamabad, Quake Chase 2011, And 2014, And finally Cyclone Nargis was ranked the biggest Tropical Cyclone EVER, and followed 10 days later by the Great Sichuan Earthquake in May of 2008!!!

25 Year Anniversary/Anchorage New Moon "Earthquake Minute" For January 4, 2019 The Transcript:

Hello, Everybody, EQ Guy Here!!! Alaska Continues to shake!!! Started off THIS WEEK with a 6.0 further out in the Alaska Islands, while Anchorage shook ALL WEEK with a 3.6 and a 3.8 on New Years Eve, a BIG 5.0 New Years Day, and a 4.2 on January 2nd, there!!! And there was a 5.0 Indonesia just a few miles WEST of where that volcano erupted and that TSUNAMI struck, there!!! Watch both Alaska and Indonesia as the New Moon passes this weekend!!! Shaking SHOULD increase!!!

And with that 25 Year Anniversary 2 weeks away, some of my best include landfall of Cyclone Nargis at Bangladesh on May 2, 2008 followed just 10 days later on May 12 by that Big Sichuan China Earthquake!!! Ranked Biggest Cyclone, Ranked Biggest Earthquake,
