Hi, EQ Guy Here!!!  Today talking about the landfall late Wednesday, Early Thursday of Hurricane Laura AT Cameron, Louisiana with latest winds at 127 Miles Per Hour although was upgraded prior to landfall to a Category 4 with winds recorded at 150!!!  

Big Windstorm, will now mean BIG Earthquakes!!!  Reminds me of the landfall of Hurricane Katrina heading much the same direction in August 2005 and the result was the 7.6 Richters Islamabad Earthquake on October 8, 2005, There!!!

Full Moon Tuesday will mean some Shaking, although regions such as Myanmar, Bangladesh, New Delhi Region, And China will be places to watch on into September. . . But BIG Earthquakes coming just the same!!!  Line also crosses between Mexico and Guatemala so probably watch Oaxaca Region once again. . . And THIS one is guaranteed to be BIG!!!  7.6 to 8 there!!!

Hi, EQ Guy Here!!!  This weeks New Moon SURE brought with it some shaking indeed!!!  Most notably a pair of big time shakers just offshore from Sumatra, Indonesia at 6.8, and a 6.9 there and very lucky NO Tsunami!!!  

There was also a 6.8 Philippines and you’ll remember On July 30, and August 6, I said to watch for shaking around Luzon, Sumatra, and Banda Aceh, and the Mozambique/Botswana Regions, too.
There was also a BIG Series of Shakers South of The Border at Mexico, although about 400 Miles to the NORTH of where we are watching and should now continue to watch for more like a 7.5!!! 

This week it was just a 5.1 although felt in Kingman, Arizona, Lompoc, and Ludlow as well as all of Los Angeles, and Hollywood!!!!!

Hi, EQ Guy Here!!!  It is Day 21 on the alert for Martinique, Montserrat, Zimbabwe, New Guinea. . . And Haitiiiiii!!!!! You’ll recall I said possibly Up to about a 7.5 for those regions, there, and wouldn’t you know a 6.0 struck Tanzania yesterday bout a hundred miles from Zimbabwe, too!!! Ironically BOTH of the two major lines of “Potential Seismic Energy” run directly across that region and you heard that here first, too, on my July 31st show and last week!!!  Both times I said Mozambique, Botswana Regions. . . And I MEANT IT!!!

ALL The more reason to keep watching Sonora, Mexico, The Martinique Islands Region, Montserrat, Zimbabwe, New Guinea. . . And Haitiiiiii!!!!! 

And listen up, because also No sooner did I say Landfall of Hurricane Issaihs at The Carolinas will mean to Keep a watching our East Coast, then that big 5.1 struck Sparta, North Carolina!!!  NOW Keep Watching New York, New Jersey, and DC for more shaking, and a few of those regions for possible Tsunami. . . Philippines, Vanuatu "Earthquake Minute" For Friday August 7, 2020, The Transcript/Script:

Hi, EQ Guy Here!!! This week we had a 6.4 Philippines, and a 6.4 Richters Earthquake at Vanuatu and right there where we are watching around Papua New Guinea, too!!!

On Tuesday there was a big 3.3 on the Richter Scale Explosion at Beirut, Lebanon!!! "The USGS removed uncertainties in the seismic methods, and the reported magnitude is not the same as an earthquake of similar size because the explosion occurred at the surface." 6 Felt Reports to Our USGS. . . Certainly felt by many more than that and very sorry for all those lost!!!

Alerts continue for Sonora, Mexico, Martinique, Montserrat, Zimbabwe, New Guinea. . . And Haitiiiiii!!!!! Up to about a 7.5 for those regions, there. And those smaller alerts for Sumatra, Banda Aceh, Mozambique, and Botswana!!! Landfall of Hurricane Issaihs at The Carolinas will certainly mean to Keep a watching our East Coast, New Jersey, and New York
