Virgin Islands/Puerto Rico "Earthquake Minute" For August 30, 2019, Transcript:

Hello EQ Guy Here!!! Lot of shaking at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, and South Sandwich Islands, and near where Hurricane Dorian just passed through the Virgin Islands with a wind gust of 111 Miles Per Hour!!! Then on Thursday there was a 6.3 Richters Offshore Oregon Earthquake and upwards of a thousand felt reports all the way to Canada, and the Los Angeles Region!!! LOOKS like it was a few hours after the August New Moon Window started, there, too, and that will now run all of the way through this weekend!!!

Must also now watch the Caribbean for shaking, too, and you’ll recall Oaxaca got that 8.1 as Hurricane Irma hit that same general region!!!

And it does look like Hurricane Dorian will be making landfall at or near The Bahamas, and then possibly Florida!!! In addition to some really bad news for Floridians, Dorian is probably going to produce new earthquakes, too! And now with Global Warming. . .the potential for REALLY BIG Earthquakes, too!!!

The Question I want to pose to you all today is with the 5.0 Ridgecrest on Thursday and Day 113 after Cyclone Foni at the Bay of Bengals, COULD we be looking at Global Warming as a factor in making the tectonic plates more FLUID!? Before the earthquakes; I had been watching Ridgecrest for increasingly drier and drier conditions. . .anyways! And Encinitas had a very big landslide and very bad one, too!

Sure Kyushu, Japan and Shanghi also had big windstorms, But: COULD we now be seeing the effects of Global Warming as PART of the cause of some movements of the ground. . . and SOME Earthquakes? That being TRUE. . . Is there a 1556 China that killed upwards of 800,000 or another big Fort Tejon Type Major California Earthquake such as struck California, back in 1857. . .Coming?

Fort Tejon still currently THEE Biggest California Earthquake of all History, COULD we now be looking at even Bigger. . . OR thee New Biggest California Earthquake of allll History. . . DUE to Global Warming, too!!!

Hello Once Again, Everybody!!! EQ Guy Here! All of this just coming into the Earthquake Minute Newsroom. . . As we SPEAK!!!!! Courtesy of NOT being able to get all the California Earthquakes sent to my phone due to them having been at hundreds a day, must report a 5.0 Shook Ridgecrest, California yesterday!!!!! NOW they have been getting them, AGAIN, at the rate of OVER 500-A-Day, there!!!

As I said in todays edition of my EQ Blog at www.earthquakealert.blogspot.com it is most likely movement of the tectonic plates the result of landfall of Hurricane Barry/Louisianna with Day 43 Sunday and Typhoon Francisco at Kyushu, Japan and THAT one could produce even more shaking with those winds at 142 Miles Per Hour, there!!!!!

ALSO had a Typhoon La-keema at Shanghi, China on August 9 with winds at 116. . . So we can expect plenty more shaking with the main alert up to this point having been for Bejing-China, Turkey, Fiji, And Point Arenas. . . California aint too far from there, you know!!!!! THAT’S “Earthquake Minute”

Hello, EQ Guy, Here!!! Yeah, Hey, There, Everybody!!!!! Big news today is that 4.1 that struck just West of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on Thursday!!! Along with a 4.2 and a 3.4 at Montana, and Many 3 Magnitudes at Ridgecrest, California!!! And ALL there under the August Full Moon, too!!! With that Full Moon Window running through today-Friday!!!!!

We are still looking at upwards of 250 small earthquakes a day at Ridgecrest, although there were NO shakers bigger that a Magnitude 3, there, on Wednesday, none on Thursday although now replaced by a 2.9 at Trona Thursday Afternoon. Let’s Keep right on watching California and the Indio-Australian Tectonic Plate just the same; through August 18. . . . . And of course THAT’S because of that 85 foot Tsunami that hit Indonesia on Day 109 after Hurricane Andrew at Homestead, FL!!!

Now due to the landfall of Typhoon Francisco at Kyushu, Japan, I’m adding Bejing, China, Turkey, Fiji, And Point Arenas, Chile or upwards of about 1000 Miles SOUTH of Santiago for the or a. . . possible next big one for those regions. 5.9 hit Turkey Thursday right where we are watching, there, too!!!

6.8 Santiago, Chile "Earthquake Minute" For August 2, 2019, Transcript:

Hello, EQ Guy, Here!!! Upwards of 250 a day continue to shake Ridgecrest, and STILL plenty of 3 Magnitudes, there. Swarm struck at offshore Santa Barbara yesterday, and a 5.9 El Salvador Earthquake. Plus a 6.6 Vanuatu and a 5.4 Australia that did some damage, there.

You’ll remember last week I ended the show with those added alerts for Honduras, Nicaragua, and Santiago-Chileeeeee!!!!! WELL. . .a 6.8 On The Richter Scale STRUCK 100 Miles Offshore from Santiago, Chile with a lot of big after shocks on Thursday, there!!!!!

This might help explain that!!! I found a 7.8 at Flores, Indonesia with an 85 Foot Tsunami that followed landfall of Giant Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and in order to fulfill that Day # we’d have to keep watching California and the Indio-Australian Tectonic Plate through August 18!!!
